Frequently asked questions
PRINTS & ARTWORK
ORDERS & SHIPPING
RETURNS & OTHER QUESTIONS
Are the artworks original?
Yes. Every print offered by Studio Avery Kate originates from artwork created by me. Each print is carefully reproduced from an original piece while preserving the detail, character, and integrity of the artwork.
What print sizes are available?
Prints are currently offered in 8x10", 11x14", 12x18", 16x20" and 24x36". Some prints cannot be offered in the same sizes as others due to the dimensions and proportions of the originals. Because the dimensions and proportions of the original artworks vary, slight differences in cropping or composition may occur between print sizes.
Can I order a custom print size?
Yes. If you are interested in a size that is not currently offered, you are welcome to submit a request through the Contact page. Alternative sizing is considered a custom order and may involve additional costs and a longer processing time depending on the requested dimensions.
Are prints sold framed?
Prints are sold unframed unless otherwise specified in the individual product listing. This gives you the flexibility to select a frame and presentation that best compliments both the artwork and your space.
Will the colors look exactly the same as they do online?
Every effort is made to represent the color, detail, and overall appearance of each artwork as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur between the image displayed on your screen and the physical print due to differences in screen settings, lighting, conditions, and the printing process.
How should I care for my print(s)?
To preserve the quality and longevity of your print(s), I recommend displaying it behind protective glass or acrylic and keeping it away from prolonged direct sunglight, excessive humidity, and moisture. When handling an unframed print, clean, dry hands are recommended to protect the printed surface.
What type of paper are the prints produced on?
Prints are printed exclusively on heavyweight felt cardstock, luster gloss poster paper, or archival uncoated paper. Your preferred finish and size can be selected directly on the product page. Digitally created artworks will not be printed on heavyweight felt cardstock and instead be solely printed on luster gloss poster paper for a smoother, glossier finish.
